Sometimes it's just too bad to save.

Sometimes when mold has gotten a good hold of a piece of drywall, it can't just be cleaned up.  To do the job properly, the drywall needs to be completely removed.

In this home, the mold had gotten out of hand.  The homeowner, wisely didn't want to try to clean it up themselves, so called SERVPRO of Southeast Milwaukee County.  

When we saw how much mold was in this house, we knew we could save all the drywall.  After talking it through with the homeowner, we began removing the very bad parts such as show in the before picture.

We had to check the insulation and everything else before replacing the drywall, just to ensure it wouldn't come back.

It can be one of the hardest things for a homeowner to experience - having their home look like it's being destroyed.  But, in this case we did the job correctly and homeowner was very happy!
